For the week of 9/23/13 – 9/27/13
Math: This week we will have a quiz on Friday 9/27. The quiz will be on the following topics:
- number systems – rational, integer, whole, and irrational
- numbers in our world
- Jeopardy – integers
- absolute value
- ordering and comparing rational numbers
- temperature
- adding integers
- subtracting integers
This week we will cover adding and subtracting integers.
Science: This week we will have a quiz on Thursday 9/26. The quiz will be Chapter 2 sections 1 and 2. There will be a unit test on Tuesday 10/1 on Chapter 2.
This week we will be covering:
- two examples of chemical properties
- what happens during a chemical change
- differences between physical and chemical change
