Spelling: aim, holiday, paper, station, able, crayon, flavor, lazy, brain, anyway, remain, favor, rail, grayest, trailer, lady, nation, relay, fail, radio
Vocabulary: drought, gradual, oppose, vacant
Writing Journal Assignment: Write a descriptive paragraph about your favorite season. Mention how each of your five senses is affected by the season. At least 8 sentences.
Math: place value, rounding, adding multi-digit whole numbers
Science: Respiratory and circulatory systems
Social Studies: New York’s regions
Reading: Ongoing free reading in class, reading notebook, conferencing
Language Arts: Complete subjects and predicates
Religion: daily devotions
Tests:
- Thursday – Memory Quiz
- Friday – Spelling Test, Unit 2

- Tuesday is our field trip to BOCES Outdoor Education Program. Please read note that goes home on Monday for details.
- Book orders are due on Thursday, 9/26.
- Please have your child’s Math binder to school by Wednesday.
