Math 6

This week we are still practicing finding the greatest common factor and least common multiple of different numbers.  This will lead us to solving greatest common factor (GCF) and least common multiple (LCM) word problems.  There is a quiz on GCF, LCM, and word problems on Wednesday, 10/14.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 7

This week we are reviewing unit 1 on rational numbers. We will start using our calculators this week, so please make sure you have yours.  Our test on Unit 1 will be on Wednesday, 10/14.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Math 8 (Pre-Algebra)

This week we will be reviewing how to perform computations using scientific notation.  The quiz on computations is on Wednesday, 10/14.  After the quiz, we will begin reviewing our scientific notation unit.  The test on this unit is on Friday, 10/16. When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.

Algebra

This week we are reviewing Chapter 3.  We will have a test on this chapter on Thursday, 10/15.  The test covers solving one step, two step, multi-step, and compound inequalities.  It also covers solving absolute value equations and inequalities.  When needed, extra help sessions are by appointment through Zoom.
