8th Grade Social Studies
This week the 8th graders will continue their study of the Civil War. We will especially focus on the Emancipation Proclamation and how the war affected life in America.
7th Grade Social
This week we are wrapping up our first chapter on the early cultures of America and how trade impacted the exploration of America. The test will be early next week, and a study guide will go home to help the students prepare for the test.
8AA Religion
The students continue to study the major events in the book of Genesis, such as the Flood and the Tower of Babel. The memory verse for this week is our theme for the year: Jeremiah 29:11. The memory quiz will take place on Thursday.
Reminders
Back- to- School Night will be this Thursday evening at 7:00. We will begin in the Church and then you will follow your child’s Wednesday schedule. A copy of their schedule will be sent home Tuesday afternoon. I hope to see all of you!
