This class is truly amazing!  They put such thought and effort into being “teachers” and reteaching science concepts to their classmates.  After watching videos and taking notes on five different Science mini-lessons about winter, the students put together their own presentations, worksheets, and even quizzes to show and share what they learned.  It was a great experience for them and so much fun for me to see.  Also, they did a great job being persuasive in their Fulton Steamboat writing assignments!

With our winter recess next week, I am slowing up our pace so that we don’t start too many new things and then break away from them for seven days.  Some academic subjects will be wrapped up this week, and in other subjects we will be doing activities that tie knowledge in with Friday’s celebration of Valentine’s Day.
