Math 6

We are beginning our unit on percents.  We will be exploring how to convert percents to fraction, fractions to percents, percents to decimals and decimals to percents.  Extra help is on Mondays at 7:30 AM.

Math 7

This week we are finishing our unit on percents.  The test will be on Tuesday, 11/26.  Please use the review sheet to guide your studying.  It will cover 3 types of percent problems, percent of change, and how to calculate discounts, tax, and tips. Extra help is on Mondays at 7:30 AM.

Pre-Algebra

We are starting a new chapter on linear equations.  Last week we learned how to graph equations using a table and x and y intercepts.  This week our focus will vertical, horizontal lines and calculating slope.  There are not any quizzes this week.  Extra help is Mondays at 7:30 AM.

Algebra

This week we finishing up chapter 6 on systems of equations.  We learned how to solve two equations using various methods such as, graphing, substitution, and elimination. We also covered solving systems involving word problems and graphing linear inequalities.  Our test will be on Tuesday, 11/26. Extra help is by appointment.
