This week we will explore the color, “Purple”. We have a variety of experiences planned including stamp painting grapes with marshmallows, counting candy corn, freeze dancing to the song, “Purple People Eater”, enjoying creating jam sandwiches in fun shapes and mixing red and blue frosting to decorate purplicious cupcakes with. We will also enjoy several great stories including, Purplicious by Victoria Kann and The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Vernon Lord. Wednesday and Thursday will be our purple color days. Please bring an item from home for show and tell. Dressing in purple is optional this week as it coincides with the class picture days.
The fire trucks from the Hicksville Fire Department will be visiting us on Monday and Tuesday. Also, Tuesday and Wednesday, we will attend chapel.
Picture days are Wednesday and Thursday. Everyone will have their picture taken, so please dress your best!
