This Week in Art:
ECC — We’re making Polar Bear Masks out of paper plates and tissue paper
Kindergarten — students are finishing up their Symmetrical “Matching” Mitten project
Gr. 1 — “Shades of Red” Magazine Collage
Gr. 2 — students are finishing up our Bark Paintings fashioned after the native Australian Aborigine people
Gr. 3 — we are finishing up our Yarn Design pictures
Gr. 4 — students will be learning about Michelangelo and his Fresco technique as they paint their own watercolor pictures
Gr. 5 — we will be using the Rorschach Blob image idea to create our own imaginative Blob Paintings
Gr. 6 — students are working on a Magazine Mosaic after they had a lesson on ancient Roman Mosaic Tiling
Gr. 7 — students are finishing up their Split Face Self Portraits this week
Gr. 8 — will be learning about Rotational Symmetry in art design
ART ELECTIVE — students are building out their Wire Armature Sculptures using newspaper, foil and masking tape
