Hope everyone enjoyed their summer. I’m looking forward to a great school year and I hope you are too. This year in computer class my long term goal is to teach my students how to use their computer to their fullest ability. This means that students will, in addition to learning how to type, learn how to find files, open and create Word documents, Excel pages, Powerpoint presentations, search the internet correctly, view and edit photos, share files and documents, and much more. Of course the extent to which they master these skills is determined by their grade level, and the older grades will be expected to remember many more details than the younger students.
I’m looking forward to a great year, and am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
