Happy New Year!
Next week, all students, grades Kindergarten through 8th grade, will begin their Basketball Unit. This unit will look different depending on the grade level. Grades K-2 will be using softer and bouncier balls in order to learn and develop their ball handling skills. Grades 3-5 will be using basketballs to continue to learn and develop their ball handling skills as well as shooting and game-like situations. Grades 6-8 will be focusing on developing their teamwork and tactical skills in both small-sided and full-court scrimmages.
