Well, we are now in the home stretch to Christmas. Due to the time crunch we have this week, none of my classes will have tests scheduled, but here are the plans for this week:
7th Social Studies
In seventh grade,we are looking at the events leading to the American Revolution. For the next two chapters, we will be referring back to our trip to Boston. We will be working on the first half of chapter 5 this week, and then finishing the chapter after Christmas.
8th Social Studies
This week the students will be completing projects on Progressive Era reformers, which will take the place of a test for chapter 19. The students will present their projects and essays in class at the end of this week.
8th Religion
This week we will be studying the early days of the Israelites in the Promised Land. We will start looking at the era of the Judges. There is no memory quiz this week.
