Hello Parents,
This week we will be learning about the color green, the shape rectangle and the number 3. We will continue exploring the letter “A”. We will be playing alphabet games throughout the week and brainstorming words that begin with these letters along with things that are the color green.
We will be reading “The Pledge of Allegiance”, “My Friends”, “Mouse’s First Day of School”, “Friends at School” and more. We continue to practice writing our names independently as well as tracing them on our morning sheets. In addition, each day we are practicing identifying our own names during circle time. In religion, we will also be continuing learning about days 3-7 of Creation during Jesus time.
In math, we will continue to practice counting and identifying numbers through various games and lessons.
I will be sending homework packets out on Monday which will be due on Friday. Friday, we will be having a special green snack. If you would like to contribute, please send in one small green apple on Friday with your child.

-Friday, October 5th is our pumpkin trip. Permission slips have been sent home, please return them ASAP.
-There will be no school on Monday, October 8th (Columbus Day) and Friday, October 19th (Staff Professional Development Day)
