Welcome back to school for some, and welcome to school for the first time for others! I am so excited to get to know all of you, and can’t wait for all the fun you will have in our class!
Our first week of school will be an introduction to school, classroom rules, playground rules, and fire safety. Our ELA will focus around the theme of school.
In math we will review the color red, circle, and the number 1. We will also introduce patterns and by the end of the week we will be making our own patterns.
Our science unit for all of September is all about apples. The first week we will discuss red apples, and I ask everyone to please bring in a red apple for snack on Friday.
Our first topic in religion will be “Jesus Loves Me”. We will learn about the special relationship we have with our Savior Jesus Christ.
Some crafts we will be working on this week will be a name collage, and a cinnamon scented red apple.
