I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend, and especially Memorial Day. Hopefully you were given an opportunity to watch a parade and honor soldiers who have given their life for our country.
The children gave a wonderful performance during our Spring Musical. I was so very proud of them!
It is a short week, so I am just going to include some highlights.
We are leading chapel this Wednesday. You are welcome to join us. Chapel begins at 8:30.
We will begin reading “The Tale of Desperaux” by Kate DiCamillo. It is a great adventure story to end the school year.
As you should be aware, we are finishing the year making sure that our multiplication facts are memorized. The students are given a timed test, and they must study their facts. These are TESTS. I send a review packet home each week, and we spend extra time in the classroom each day practicing the facts. The schedule for the tests are as follows:
Tuesday, May 22nd – 6 as a factor
Tuesday, May 29th – 7 as a factor
Tuesday, June 5th – 8 as a factor
Tuesday, June 12th – 9 as a factor
Tuesday, June 19th – 10 as a factor
Additionally, we are taking our perimeter and area test on Wednesday, May 30th.
We are not having any other tests this week.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email me at [email protected]. Have a wonderful week!
