It’s hard to believe it’s March! The class is in full swing with new units and chapters and so much to learn!
Please be sure to read the note going home today about how we will be incorporating March Madness into our classroom this month. We will also be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day and getting ready for Easter.
Week of: March 5-9
Reading: Character and setting analysis of Sarah Plain and Tall
Grammar: Review adjectives and adverbs
Writing: Writing a friendly letter (students will be asking for the addresses of the friend or relative they have chosen to write to so that they may mail their letters this week!)
Spelling: NO Spelling this week
Math: Adding and subtracting mixed numbers
Science: Unit 5 Lesson 2 What are Some Internal Structures of Animals?
Social Studies: Chapter 7 Lesson 3 New York Grows and Changes
