There will be a spelling test on unit 8 on Friday, Feb. 2 Book projects are due on Monday, Feb. 12.
All students should have picked a topic for the research paper.
Due to mid terms I did not see 6th grade and one of my seventh grade classes. So instead of my plans, I altered them a bit and we are going to do those plans this week. If they seem familiar to last week, that is why.
6th Grade: 6th graders are going to finish a How To Paper they started on Friday. They will read two short stories, “The Southpaw” and Becky, and the Wheels and Brake Boys.” We will review conjunctions and run on sentences.
7th Grade: Students in 7th grade will finish a How To Paper and then read “Two Kinds” and review conjunctions and run on sentences.
8th Grade: We will read “The Tell Tale Heart” and review conjunctions and run on sentences.
Attention all Eighth Graders: You baby picture is needed for the yearbook by Friday, February 2nd.
