Math Grade 6

We are continuing with our unit on Statistics. This week our focus will be on interpreting and constructing histograms and dot plots.   We will end the week completing a data display project during class. There are not any tests or quizzes this week. Extra help is Wednesday, from 7:30 to 8:00 AM.

Math Grade 7

We are finishing up our unit on equations and inequalities. We will be reviewing for our unit exam, which will be on Tuesday, 12/19.   Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:30-8:00 AM.

Pre-Algebra

This week we are continuing with graphing linear equations. This week the focus will be on writing linear functions when given two points. We will also explore how parallel and perpendicular lines impact the equation of a line. There will be a quiz on Wednesday, 12/20.     Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:30 to 8:00 AM.

Algebra

We are beginning our next chapter on Functions. This chapter explores patterns of linear and non-linear functions, domain, range, function notation, and explicit and recursive sequences. There will be a unit test on Wednesday, 12/20.   Extra help is Wednesdays during recess.
