This week we are diving into leaves and the changes that the season of Fall brings. Our art projects include a Thanksgiving placemat and a leaf rubbing. For homework this week, please go on a leaf hunt with your family and find your favorite leaf to bring to class. We will use it to create a graph of our favorite fall leaves. Music and movement activities include dancing to the songs, “Ten Little Turkeys”, “Leaves Are Falling”’ and “If You’re Thankful And You Know It”. Stories include, We’re Going On A Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger and Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf by Lois Ehlert.
Reminder – There will be no school on Friday, November 10th in observance of Veteran’s Day.
