Please make sure your child is rehearsing his/her parts for the Spring Musical. The play will be on Tuesday, May 23rd.
This week we are finishing our chapter on measurement in Math. We are having the chapter test on Tuesday. I will NOT have extra help on Tuesday morning.
In ELA we are reading Sarah, Plain and Tall and Wagons of the Old West. We are focusing on story structure and point of view. Our vocabulary words are prairie, slick, fetch, clattered, sniff, rough, batted, thumped, buzzing, and rustle. We are having a test on this selection on Tuesday, May 9th.
Our spelling words are coming, swimming, dropping, taping, taping, invited, saving, stared, planned, changing, joking, loved, gripped, tasted, making, stopped, freezing, and scared. We are having our test on Friday, May 5th.
We have written the rough draft to our research reports, and we are going to be entering them in google doc this week.
In Social Studies, we are studying the geography of China. We will be having a test on the geography and map skills on Friday, May 5th.
In Science, we are learning about how environments change over time.
This week we are practicing looking up bible verses in our bibles. There is no religion memory this week.
