Math Grade 6
We are working on module 7, which covers proportional relationships. There will be a test on ratios, rates, and proportional relationships on Thursday, 3/2. A review sheet will be sent home on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:45.
Math Grade 7
This week we are continuing with Unit 4. This unit explores geometry. This week we will explore circumference and area of circles. We will also explore how to calculate the area of rectangles, parallelograms, triangles, and trapezoids. There are no quizzes this week.

Pre-Algebra
This week our focus is solving system of equation word problems. There will be a quiz on Thursday, 3/2 on systems involving word problems.
Extra help is Wednesday morning at 7:45.
Algebra
We are continuing with Chapter 8. This chapter explores multiplying and factoring polynomials and binomials. Multiplying using FOIL will be covered. This week our focus will be on factoring different polynomials. Factoring by grouping will also be explored.
