Math Grade 6
This week we are starting our chapter on coordinate graphing. The students will be learning parts of the coordinate plane and how to graph ordered pairs. We will also explore how to calculate the distance between two points. At the end of the week the students will be working on a graphing project. There are not any quizzes this week.
Extra help will be on Wednesdays from 7:45-8:15
Math Grade 7
This week we are starting Unit 4. This unit explores geometry. We will start by exploring scale factors. The students will be working on a scale factor project at the end of the week. There are not any tests or quizzes this week.

Pre-Algebra
This week we are continuing with linear functions. We will be writing linear functions given two points. We will also be exploring parallel and perpendicular lines. This will lead us up to graphing and solving systems of equations using substitution and elimination. There will be a quiz on Friday on solving systems using graphing and substitution.
Extra Help is Wednesday, from 7:45- 8: 15.
Algebra
We are starting chapter 7, Exponential Functions. We will be exploring exponent rules and differences between linear functions and exponential functions. Exponential growth and decay will also be explored. .
