Here’s a look at what we will be doing!

Spelling- The new words for this week are: time, like, kite, bike, white, drive. The vocabulary (“R” book) words are: bird, fly, those, both, long, walk, eyes, or. The children will write their spelling words 3x each for homework by Wednesday. They should write 6 sentences by Thursday. Spelling Test will be Friday.
Although there is no homework given on Fridays, I am going to start sending the “S” and “R” books home on Fridays in case any of the children want to get a head start on writing their words and sentences on the weekend days (when they might have more free time). This is optional over the weekend. Now that the 2nd quarter is completed this week, we will begin writing 10 sentences for the spelling words.

Phonics- words with long i, kn-, wr-, gn-, -mb
