At this time in the school year, students should be comfortable with the good study habits and test taking strategies that they have learned.  Major exams are always announced a week in advance and students should be studying for 3-4 nights in order to do well.  While taking an exam, students should take their time, read all of the questions and answer choices carefully.  They should always review the directions, even after the teacher has reviewed them aloud.  When they are finished with an exam, they should always go back and check over their work to be sure they have answered all the questions and given what they think is the best possible answer.  We will have exams in all of our subjects before the end of the second marking quarter and it will be a good opportunity to practice these skills.
