Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!
Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling- The words for this week are: chin, chop, much, chip, rich, chick. The “R” book words are: been, brown, know, never, off, out, own, very. The children will write their words 3x each for homework by Tuesday. They should write 5 sentences by Wednesday. The test will be on Friday.
Phonics- ch and –tch words
Language Arts- possessives
Reading: We will read the story “How Leopard got his Spots”. The children will read it again at home. There will be Reading tests on Friday. There are 2 parts to the phonics test. The first part is ch and -tch words and the second part is possessives.
Math- Related facts
Science- How animals are protected
Social Studies- communities

Our Star of the Week is Isaac!
We will be having a Christmas luncheon just for the children on Tuesday, 12/21. The class moms are asking for volunteers to send in items. Please see the special notice that was sent home last week about the book for your child (due this Wednesday).
Mr. DeVries sent home a letter about the Christmas musical which will be performed this Tuesday, 12/13 at 7pm. I am looking forward to seeing everyone there!
Send in your child’s pizza money by Thursday morning.
