This week we are learning all about pumpkins and the color “orange”. We have many exciting activities planned centered on this theme. A few of those activities include carving our class pumpkin, baking pumpkin bread, mixing red and yellow to finger paint with orange paint, reciting and creating art based on the “Five Little Pumkins” fingerplay, counting pumpkin seeds, exploring pumpkin spice play dough and reading a variety of pumpkin stories. It should be a fun filled week in Nursery School! Wednesday and Thursday we will have our pumpkin parties – please wear orange on these days. Thank you to everyone who volunteered to bring in supplies and make our pumpkin party extra special!
