7th Social Studies
With the seventh grade classes going to Koinonia this week, we will only meet for social studies once. However, the trip to Koinonia will coincide nicely with The Light in the Forest.
8th Social Studies
The eighth grade finished studying Reconstruction last week, and they will be tested this week. The study guide is available here. The test on chapter 16 will be on Friday, October 14th. The students will also be assigned to read the first three chapters of Chasing Lincoln’s Killers.
8th Religion
Last week the students received the guidelines for the first quarter project. This should be completed by October 24th. In class this week, we will continue with our study of the book of Genesis, and will focus on how God moved Joseph to forgive and help his brothers, after being sold into slavery by them. The memory verse for this week is Philippians 4:6-7, which can be found on page 23 of the student book.
