Math Grade 6
This week we will be focusing on Greatest Common Factor(GCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM) application problems. We will also be completing another lab activity involving this concept on Thursday.

Math Grade 7
This week we are finishing up Module 3. When the students return from their trip, we will begin our next unit on ratios and proportional relationships.

Pre-Algebra
This week we are starting a new unit on Scientific Notation. The properties of exponents will be explored. Additionally, students will be learning how to write numbers using both standard form and scientific notation. We will also be comparing numbers in scientific notation.
Quiz, Wednesday, October 12th on writing numbers in scientific notation and converting to standard form.
Algebra
This week we are starting Chapter 5 on linear equations. We will be exploring slope, y-intercept, and different ways to graph a line, including using a table, x and y intercepts, and slope-intercept form. Please be sure to have graph paper for this chapter.
