On Tuesday, 10/4, we will be having a quiz on Rational Numbers. A review sheet will be sent home on Monday. Additionally, we will be exploring greatest common factor and least common multiple.

Math Grade 7
This week we are starting Module 3. This covers adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing rational numbers. At the end of the week, the students will be working on a rational numbers project in class.
There are not any quizzes or tests this week.

Pre-Algebra
This week we are starting a new unit on Scientific Notation. The properties of exponents will be explored. Additionally, students will be learning how to write numbers using both standard form and scientific notation. There will be a quiz, Tuesday, October 11th on writing numbers in scientific notation.
Algebra
We are finishing up Chapter 3 on Inequalities. We explored solving multi-step inequalities, compound inequalities, and absolute value inequalities. We will spend part of the week reviewing for our test on Friday.

Friday, 10/7- Test on Chapter 3 Inequalities
