READING – We will continue to review alphabetical sequence, and capital and lower case letter recognition, along with identifying and blending syllables, and recognizing rhyming words. In addition we are learning the correct way to handle a book, discussing the parts of a book, identifying and spelling our first and last names, distinguishing letters from numbers, and noticing environmental print.
MATH – Modeling, counting and writing numbers 1-4 will be our task this week.
RELIGION – Our focus will continue to be the story of Creation.
SCIENCE – This will be our second week to learn about our “5 Senses.”
SOCIAL STUDIES – Our topic is “Where can you find friends?” We’ll also discuss how to be a good friend.
