Reminder: Our Closing Program is next Monday , June 6, 2016 at 9:15 am. Please bring your child to their classroom at 9:00 am and you may then head up to the church for a seat. The celebration will then continue in your child’s classroom after the program.
This week in class:
We have been very busy finishing up our nursery rhyme unit and reviewing colors, shapes, number and letters. We are also creating a very special surprise for a very special someone.
Art: Finish our hand-print alphabet- Z is for zebra, do-a-dot zebra and Father’s Day surprise.
Music: We have been doing a great job practicing our songs for our closing program. We have been using our singing voices and listening ears. We hope you enjoy the program!
Math: Counting suns, our friends and working on patterns.
Science: We released our Painted Lady butterflies. Ask us about the life cycle of a butterfly!
Language art: Alphabet chart, rhyming sheet.
Literature: The Big Book of Alphabet Rhymes and Chimes, Lionel in the Summer by Stephen Krensky, Dandelions-Stars in the Grass by Mia Posada.
Jesus Time: The Lord’s Prayer and Closing Program
