Greetings! Here is the line up for this week.
8th Social Studies
The eighth grade is finishing up chapter 23, The Great Depression, and will take their chapter test on Thursday, You may view the study guide here.
7th Social Studies
This week the students will continue to study the Era of Thomas Jefferson. They will focus especially on the foreign conflicts that occurred, which culminated in the War of 1812. They will likely take the chapter 9 test late next week.
8th Pre-Algebra
On Monday, the students will take their Module 10 quiz, which will wrap the unit on transformational geometry. We will then move into measurement geometry in Module 11.
8th Religion/Social Emotional Learning
In religion we are continuing to study the kings of Israel through the book of 1&2 Kings and 1&2 Chronicles. In S.E.L., we are focusing on being proactive versus reactive. The Memory verse for this week is 1 Chronicles 16:25-26, which is on page 90 of the student book, or may be viewed here.
