This week our nursery classes are practicing for their Mini Olympics.  We are practicing our ribbons and hoops, the balance beam, the bar, and our very own obstacle course.  The children have been having a blast practicing and getting ready for everyone to see their performance.

Art projects for this week are:   R is for rose and do a dot letter R;  S is for spider and do a dot letter S; Olympic rings and banner; Olympic windsock with stamped stars; and colored the number 8

During Jesus time this week we have chapel on both Tuesday and Wednesday.  We will be learning that Jesus is alive!

Books we will read this week include Ten Rosey Roses by Eve Merriam, Counting in the Garden by Kim Parker, The Lamb and the Butterfly by Arnold Sundgaard and Rainbow Fish Counting by Marcus Pfister.

Just a reminder the Mini Olympics are Friday April 15th at 9:15 a.m.  Please make sure your child is at school promptly at 9 a.m.  On the day of the Olympics each child should wear their Olympics t-shirt along with either red, blue, or white shorts/pants, and sneakers.  Please make sure your child is comfortable as they will be moving around in the gym that morning.  Hope to see everyone there and remember all family and friends are able to attend to help support the kids and all their hard work!
