Happy Groundhog’s Day! This week we will be learning about the groundhog and his shadow. The letter we will be working on this week is G. During Jesus time we will be covering feelings and love. As for our art projects we will be making a groundhog picture using our feet and also coloring in Gregory groundhog to make a shadow at home. Please encourage your child to hang Gregory in a sunny spot so his shadow will appear on his paper in about a week.
We are still continuing to sell chocolate to support our efforts to raise money to help replace the playground floor. If you have sold the box of candy please remember to turn in the money as soon as possible. The candy sale is now through February 22nd.
Please check the class board for the sign up sheet for the Valentine’s day parties which will be held in class next Thursday 2/11 and Friday 2/12.
