We certainly hope all of you were warm and safe during the weekend blizzard. No school on Monday due to all the snow.
This week in the nursery classes we are having a short week due to the snow day and Parent/Teacher Conference Day.
Language Arts: Alphabet center- letter F. Story- Pick a Circle, Gather Squares by Felicia Chernesky, Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson and Penguin Wanted to Fly by Catherine Vase. Pre-writing practice.
Math: More and less, comparing, counting sequentially and shape review.
Art: Continued our hand-print alphabet… F is for Fish. Ms. Dugan’s class began letter G. We reviewed our shapes while making a shape wagon.
Gross Motor Skills: Jumping and riding the tricycles.
Movement to Music: Building a snowman, The Seasons song, Shake out the sillies, Good morning song, Number bean bag song.
Please remember your parent/teacher conferences scheduled for either Thursday ( Mrs. Gallo) or Friday( Mrs. B. Krass and Ms. Dugan) and contact your child’s teacher if you need to reschedule.
