Hello, everyone! Happy Thanksgiving! Since this is a short week of school, I just have a few notes.
8th Social Studies
The eighth grade will have a test on chapter 17 on Monday, November 23rd. The study guide was posted last week, but you can view it here. Extra help will be available on Monday morning at 7:45 a.m. When we return from Thanksgiving recess, we will begin Chapter 18, which will go into the growth of big business in the Unites States.
7th Social Studies
The seventh grade will have their chapter 3 test on Monday, November 23rd, as well. The study guide may be found here. Extra help will be available on Monday morning at 7:45 a.m. After Thanksgiving, the students will be gin learning about the culture that developed in the colonies, and how we began to separate from England.
8th Pre-Algebra
This week the students are finishing Module 4. The quiz will be on Tuesday, and extra help will be Tuesday morning at 7:45 a.m.
8th Religion
Since this is a short week, the religion class will only meet on Monday. We will begin studying the Ark of the Covenant and the Tabernacle, which will lead into their second quarter project. due to scheduling, the rubric will not be given out until after Thanksgiving. There will not be a memory quiz this week.
