computersmallOur full day students get the opportunity to use the computer lab once a week. Today was our first trip to the computers and we did a great job using the mouse and making colorful pictures.

Back in the classroom we are talking about all of the things we are thankful for as we get ready for Thanksgiving.

Some of the stories we are reading are Fall is for Friends by Suzy Spafford, We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt by Steve Metzger, Spookley the Square Pumpkin – A Family to be Thankful For by Joe Troiano, and Run, Turkey, Run! by Diane Mayr.

Some of our art projects this week include painting small paper plates brown to make a turkey, stamping fall colors to make a Thanksgiving place mat, and coloring our brown page for our coloring books.

During Jesus Time we are remembering all of the things God gave us that we should be thankful for, like families, friends, food, our school, and many other things. During Jesus time we are reading Thank You Thanksgiving by David Milgrim and The Thankful Book by Todd Parr.
