Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!
Spelling-The words for this week are: can, had, cat, ran, an, bad. The vocabulary (“R” book) words are: away, every, call, hear, come, said. The children will write their 10 spelling words 3x each for homework by Wednesday. The vocabulary words from their “R” book count as part of their Spelling test.
Phonics- -ck, /a/
Language Arts- complete sentences
Reading: We will read the story Jack and the Wolf . The children will read it again at home. There will be Reading tests on Friday.
Math- adding 10; making 10 to add; adding 3 numbers
Religion- Daily devotions and Bible stories from religion book 2
Science- Habitats- Ocean
Social Studies- Our School
Weekly Reader- Firefighter School

Our Star of the Week is Azriel!
Picture Day is Monday! There will be individual and class pictures taken.
Please send in Scholastic Book orders by Tuesday, or you can order online at Scholastic.com.
Ask your child if they are in need of any school supplies (pencils, glue, crayons, etc.) and send them in as soon as possible.
Please remember to check your child’s folder each night and remove the papers.
