Welcome to the Kindergarten weekly blog. I am looking forward to a terrific school year!
READING– For the next two weeks our class will be reviewing alphabetical order, capital and lower case letter recognition, and identifying rhyming words. If your child needs practice with the afore-mentioned skills, please practice on a daily basis. After that two week period we will begin word recognition and blending skills.
MATH- Our focus this week is to model, write, and count objects associated with numbers 1 and 2.
SCIENCE- Our discussions will center around the four seasons and signs of Fall.
RELIGION- Our Bible story is the Creation story.
SOCIAL STUDIES- The class will discuss ways to take care of our classroom and following the rules.
REMINDERS
Don’t forget the P.T.F.A. sponsored “Parent Social” this Friday, from, 7 to 9. Adults only please.
