This Week in Art:
*** All students should have a smock/old shirt for art class.
*** Students in Gr. 3 – 8 should have brought back their Art Contracts signed by a parent/guardian.
*** All Middle School Students were asked last week to bring in an empty Cereal box (or similar sized box) to make their Art Drawing Journals. These journals were put together in class. The students will design a creative cover for the journal in class this week.
ECC4 & ECC5 Classes will start an Apple Tree project
Kindergarten will continue to learn and use Line Families and shapes to draw a Fall Landscape.
Gr.1 will be coloring in their Rainbow Fish using oil pastels.
Gr.2 will be reviewing Line Families and how to draw people using basic shapes. This will culminate in a Fall Activity drawing.
Gr. 3 will be given the Class Code to join my Art Google Classroom and will be drawing a favorite family memory.
Gr. 4 will continue to work on their “Space” Construction Paper Collage.
Gr. 5 will be using assorted assemblage materials to create their Candy Corn Characters.
Middle School Grades 6 – 8 will be finishing up their Art Drawing Journals in class.
Art Elective students have started their 3-dimensional letter project by taping cardboard around the perimeter of their foam board cut out letter.
