We have another short week of school but we are still keeping up with all of our academic lessons and units. The class has done a great job thus far preparing for exams. They are learning study techniques and it’s evident that they want to do their best on exams. Thank you for your support in this at home!
WEEK: October 21-25

READING: Due to the short week we will not do a story from the text. Instead, we will continue with our novel, “Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing” and chapter questions
GRAMMAR: past, present, future tense verbs
WRITING: finish Iroquois children writing assignments
MATH: multiplying with partial products
SOCIAL STUDIES: Chapter 3, Lesson 2 The Dutch Settle New York, Lesson 3 New York Becomes and English Colony
SCIENCE: The Birth of Rocks series; will a mountain last forever?
RELIGION: Daily devotions; memorize Commandments 1-3; Isaac and his family

- Thursday – Spelling, Grammar, Memory
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- There is NO school on Friday, October 25th due to a Professional Conference Day for teachers
