“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

This week I’d like to wish all of the 4th grade families a happy Thanksgiving.  This weekend coming up should be a special time to spend with loved ones, sharing all of the blessings that God has given us.  Make a point of talking to your children about even the little things in life that they have to be thankful for. Gratitude is said to reduce stress and promote kindness.  Let it not only be something for Thanksgiving day but, rather, a daily practice that can be uplifting for everyone.

When we return next week the Christmas season will be in full swing.  I will be sending home a folder with all of our important December dates and activities.
