We have officially finished the first two trimesters of the school year. This group continues to amaze me and lift me up everday as we all learn new things together! Thank you for the continued support from the families. It has always been important to me to keep a strong home-school connection and we really have that going this year!
We have so much going on! The kids have been researching women in different industries that they may want careers in someday. They are researching colleges that I’ve assigned based on the NCAA March Madness tournament. One of the students said to me the other day, “Mrs. Sanders college is so expensive!” I love hearing them talk about the endless possibilities and plans for thier own futures! We will be researcching the history of the game of basketball this week. I shared with the class an interview with Sister Jean, a 101 year old nun who travels with the Loyola Chicago basketball team. We talked about how inspirtational she is anad also how lucky those players are to have someone to pray with them and for them. I am truly watching this class grow as people in the 4th grade!
