Welcome to 2021 in the 4th Grade! I’m back to updating the weekly class notes so families can be informed of what we are covering in the 4th grade.
Since our return from the Christmas holiday I have been telling the kids, new year, new things! Of course we will be continuing with the curriculum in all of our core subjects, but it also time to explore some new topics and new ways of learning. In an effort to keep the students engaged and responsible, we have spent the last two weeks with them developing their own projects for the class. I’m so pleased with their ideas! I advised them to think outside of the box and think like a teacher in their planning. Please take the time to talk to them at home and ask about their project ideas. Next week they will get their planning page to finalize the project they will be assigning to their classmates. I’m really looking forward to watching them expand their horizons!
