I’m looking forward to spending this week with the class. It is nice to see their anticipation and here them talk about Christmas traditions. This week we have two major exams but otherwise we will be doing some learning with a holiday twist. Please be sure to read through the important notes section at the bottom of this page for some important reminders.

SPELLING: There will be a Christmas Spelling Challenge this week. Details going home on Monday.
READING: We will be reading and writing reviews of children’s Christmas books this week
MATH: Test on Chapter 4
SOCIAL STUDIES: Test on Chapter 4
SCIENCE: Unit 5 Animals
TESTS this week:
•Tuesday – Social Studies, Chapter 4
•Thursday – Memory quiz; Math Chapter 4
IMPORTANT NOTES:
•Christmas gift bags and Christmas cards are due on Monday for our Secret Santa project with teachers.
•Friday is our class Christmas party. Please send in the assigned supplies to school by Wednesday. Party snacks can be sent in on Friday if necessary.
