This week we have our first two major exams.  Students should be studying for 3-4 nights in order to be well-prepared to do their best.

Week:  September 26-30

Spelling: skill, crime, grind, tonight, brick, flight, live, chill, delight, build, ditch, decide, witness, wind, district, inch, sigh, fright, remind, split  Challenge Words: ignorant, recognize, advice, twilight, rigid

Grammar: quotation marks

Reading: “My Librarian is a Camel”  Vocabulary: access, remote, isolated, impassable, obtain, extremes, virtual, avid, devour, preserve

Writing:  Writing with dialogue

Math: Test on Chapter 1; multiplication comparisons, multiplying tens/hundreds/thousands

Science:   Chapter 5, Lesson 3 What are the digestive and nervous systems?

Social Studies:  Test on Chapter 1

Religion: daily devotions, weekly Dear God letters

TESTS THIS WEEK:

  • Tuesday – Math, Chapter 1
  • Thursday – Memory Quiz; Social Studies Chapter 1
