We are completely done with the research papers and grades will be posted as soon as possible. Each paper will count for two grades. 6th and 8th grade count for ELA and Social Studies and 7th grade counts for ELA and Health. I am SO PROUD of the students for their hardwork and dedication to these papers. Writing an MLA research paper is hard stuff and they really pushed through! Ask to see your child’s paper!
This week we will begin our final novel!
6th grade is reading Ghost by Jason Reyonalds
7th grade is reading The Giver by Lois Lowry
8th grade is reading Maus by Art Spiegelman
I hand picked each of these novels, new to the curriculum this year and I am very excited to begin!
