Important Information

It’s a short week and Parent/Teacher Conference Day is on Friday. If you haven’t signed up for a conference with me, please do so. I’m looking forward to meeting with everyone.

The weather is turning, so please make sure that your child has the appropriate coat for recess.

Mr. DeVries is working with the children preparing them for our Christmas show.  Please help your child memorize any lines that he or she might have.

If you haven’t done so already, please send in your child’s menu selection for our Thanksgiving Feast, along with the $5 to cover the cost of the meal.

The National Honor Society is having a food drive. They have asked us to send in canned vegetables for the drive. Please help us support those in need.

Spelling Words – This week’s words have the long e sound spelled::  ea, ee, ee_e, and our review and challenge words. The words are heel, week, creek, free, green, street, freeze, seal, weak, bean, speaks, team, clean, cream, field, tight, tied, cute, sixteen, and peanut.

Social Studies: We are beginning to learn about economics. Our vocabulary will cover good, services, consumer, producer, import, export, and purchase.

Religion: We are learning what tools help us learn about the Bible.
