We are going to the Scholastic Book Fair on Wednesday morning. The children are excited to browse the books and pick out their favorites.
Please make sure insturments are brought to school for both Band and lessons.
March is Women’s History Month. This week we will learn about Sonya Sotomayor, Jane Goodall, Kamala Harris, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, and Clara Barton.
Wednesday is Ash Wednesday, It marks the beginning of the Lenten Season. It is a time for repentance and remembering all the suffering Jesus went through for us.

Social Studies: We are learning about the different level of government; federal, state, and local..
Science: Students will be exploring animal life cycles by thinking about their birthday buddies—all the animals that were born on the exact same day as they were born—and what happens to those birthday buddies over the course of their lives.
Religion: We are discussing what is the church. We are also going to be discussing Ash Wednesday. Next Wednesday, March 12th, the Third Grade will be leading Chapel.
