Important Information

It is Holy Week this week, so we only have school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

“Stuffed” Animal Reports and Student Self-Assessments are due Tuesday.

Please make sure that your child brings a water bottle to school everyday.

Academics

Math: The overall grades on the last math test, were not good. I am not counting the grades, and I will continue to review perimeter and area with the class.  We are learning about time. I will not be giving a test on this unit. When we come back from our long spring break, we will start fractions.

Social Studies: This week we will learn about American heroes. We will focus on Anne Hutchinson, Abraham Lincoln, Clara Barton, and Harriet Tubman.

Science: We are learning about how seeds disperse and the plant’s life cycle.

Religion: This week we are focusing on what happening during the days leading up to Jesus dying on the cross and then rising on Easter Sunday.
