Hello spring!
Surprise! Two snow days this week and I need to change plans.
Friday 3/ 23: Parent/Guardian signature due on “Stuffed” Animal Report and Religion Memory Test
Monday 3/26: Take Home, Open Book Test in Social Studies. There will not be an in class test. It is due on Wednesday.
No Math Quiz next Wednesday, We will have it on the Tuesday 4/10 once we return from vacation.
On Wednesday 3/28 our class parents are arranging an Easter breakfast for the class.

A letter went home requesting $5 from each student for our WINGO basket. Please send the $5 this week and address the envelope to “Class Representative”. Thank you! And if you haven’t purchased tickets to this fun event, please consider doing so. Everyone always has a good time!
Last week I sent home direction on how to log on to our ELA, Math, and Science websites. As a quick reminder, ELA and Math are on the same website TC.Trinityli.org and Science is on Ed.Trinityli.org. As a class, we went on ThinkCentral (tc.trinityli.org). This week, I will show the students how to access our Science. Although I am assigning assignment on ThinkCentral, I am not requiring the students to complete them. I am just trying to acclimate the students to the websites.
We are finishing the second trimester this week, and starting spring. That signals new beginnings for many of us. Let’s finish the school year strong!
This week I am handing out information on our “Stuffed” Animal Reports. Here is a copy of the report information: “Stuffed” Animal Report. There are some important dates associated with the report that should be noted:
- Parent/Guardian signature due Wednesday, March 21st.
- Book needs to be approved by Mrs. Perovich by Tuesday, March 27th.
- “Stuffed” Animal Report due Monday, April 16th.
- Student Self-Assessment due Monday, April 16th.
Math
Our Chapter 8 Test is on Monday. We will begin Chapter 9 on Tuesday. It is a continuation of fractions. We are having a quiz on Chapter 9 on Wednesday March 28th.
ELA
I am not giving any ELA tests this week.

We are finishing up the geography of South Africa this week. We will have a test on this section on Tuesday, March 27th. A review take home quiz will go home on Thursday, March 22nd and will be due on Monday, March 26th.
Religion
We are learning about communion and how Jesus prepared a special meal. Our Wednesday test is on The Eighth Commandment. I have also included the link here for Third Grade Memory Work and due dates.
